Dawn Holt is a Paralegal with Coleman & Edwards, P.C. and assists Gregory F. Coleman in all aspects of litigation.  She is an Advanced Certified Paralegal in the area of Trial Practice.  Dawn began working at Coleman & Edwards within months of its inception.  Dawn's specialty areas of practice are in plaintiff's medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. She also has experience in products liability, wrongful death and workers' compensation.   She is often the first point of contact for prospective plaintiff clients of Coleman & Edwards. Dawn looks forward to working with all clients to help them achieve just compensation for their injuries.  Her litigation experience encompasses case management from the initial filing though trial and appeal.

Dawn began her legal career as a Legal Assistant in the early 1980s.  Prior to joining Coleman & Edwards, Dawn was a paralegal with Butler, Vines and Babb, PLLC and a legal assistant with the City of Knoxville Law Department . 

Dawn is a member of the  National Association of Legal Assistants and the Tennessee Paralegal Association (TPA), and she is a paralegal affiliate of the American Association for Justice.  She currently serves as Editor of the East Tennessee Chapter of TPA's monthly newsletter, In Brief, and has formerly served as its Program Director.  The TPA also selected Dawn as the Association's Outstanding Member of the Year for 2006.  The award was presented at TPA's annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 4, 2006. 

In 2006, Dawn successfully passed the comprehensive examination of the National Association of Legal Assistants, making her a Certified Paralegal, and then subsequently in February 2007 achieved the Advanced Certified Paralegal designation in the area of Trial Practice.

Dawn was selected for inclusion in the 2008 Edition of  Marquis Who's Who in America as one of the nation's most noteworthy people.
